Shipping & Framing

How Shipping Works

Every painting travels directly from the artist's studio to you. Once an acquisition is agreed, our fine art shipping partner collects the work from the studio. A painting that travels by air is fitted into a made-to-measure wooden crate at our partner's packing centre. We send you a tracking link as soon as it is on its way.

Insurance

Your painting is insured for its full sale value while it travels. If it arrives damaged, please write to us within 48 hours of delivery and leave the painting and its packing as they arrived. We handle the claim from there, as set out in our returns policy.

Delivery Times

Delivery time depends on where the painting travels from and to. We give you an estimate for your painting when we arrange the acquisition with you.

Customs & Import Duties

Artemble pays any import duties and taxes on your behalf, so you are never asked to pay anything when the painting is delivered. Every work is declared to customs as an original painting.

Framing

Artemble works are shipped unframed unless otherwise stated in the listing. We recommend framing locally - it avoids transit risk and allows you to choose a frame that suits your space. We are happy to advise on framing options for any work.
