How Artemble began, and what it stands for
The Beginning
Artemble began with a frustration. Many fine painters work for years without reaching the collectors who would value their work most.
Large art websites list almost anything, so good work is hard to find. Galleries are harder to reach: they mostly show artists who already have representation, to collectors who already have connections. Artemble sits between the two.
The Belief
We think an original painting belongs on a wall where someone looks at it every day, and that a painter working far from the big art capitals should be able to reach the collectors who would hang it. A collector, whether buying a first painting or a fiftieth, should know exactly who made it and how.
The Curation
Artemble works the way a gallery does. We review every artist personally and assess every painting before it is shown, and we expect to decline most applications. That care is what makes the collection worth trusting, for collectors and for the painters in it.
The Experience
A painting acquired through Artemble travels directly from the artist's studio to the collector, insured for its full value, and arrives with a certificate of authenticity from Artemble.
